The Internet can be a powerful tool to reach people around the world with knowledge of our history. An online exhibit can show people things that are too fragile to see in real space, give them a central database of information on historic places, families and companies, even help save historic landmarks by giving the public a place to go to to find out all about them. With over 8 years of web programming experience, Rick Gardner has used this valuable tool for all these things, and you can see a good example of his online work at the Golden Landmarks Association website. With collegiate training in web programming, Dreamweaver and Photoshop technology Gardner designs, creates and builds history websites of many kinds. Using Photoshop he can also help you simulate the restoration of your historic place before starting work, as was done with the historic Golden Theatre building pictured above.
